There are charities you can contact for support, advice and guidance.

Women’s Aid – Women’s Aid is a grassroots federation working together to provide life-saving services and build a future where domestic violence is not tolerated.

The Hide Out – The charity Women’s Aid created this website. Women’s Aid has been working with women and children experiencing domestic violence over forty years.

Refuge – The national charity for women and children suffering from domestic abuse. 

Respect Men’s Domestic Abuse Helpline – Provide help and advice for men who are suffering from Domestic Abuse.

Broken Rainbow National Helpline (LGBT) – Provides services to lesbian, gay, bisexual and trans people experiencing domestic abuse

National Centre for Domestic Violence – Provides fast, free emergency injunction services to survivors of domestic abuse regardless of their financial circumstances.

Dogs Trust Freedom Project – Dogs Trust Freedom Project is a dog fostering service for people fleeing domestic abuse and going into refuge.  The service is available is Greater London & the Home Counties, Yorkshire, the North East, the North West, and Scotland.
