Further to East Village Management Limited’s recent application to the First-Tier Tribunal Property Chamber (Residential Property) for the dispensation of such consultation requirements under Section 20ZA of the Landlord and Tenant Act 1985 in respect of potentially planning to enter into a long-term electricity contract in relation to the supply of electricity to the communal areas of all properties at East Village, the Tribunal has made its determination in respect of this. A copy of the document recording its decision is enclosed here for your information. In summary, the decision has been determined that it is reasonable to dispense with the formal consultation requirements in respect of the subject of the application.
