East Village will offer more time, space and choice to its residents, with all you would expect to find within a thriving London neighbourhood. It will have a new academy school specialising in the performing arts; a major medical centre offering GP, dentistry and physiotherapy services; a day care centre for infants and a comprehensive range of indoor and outdoor sports facilities - all of which are available to the entire community. It has space for 30 local, independent shops, cafes and bars and Europe's largest retail centre (Westfield's Stratford City) is just a few minutes walk away.

The site will benefit from one, comprehensive management strategy, which is being developed by the Olympic Delivery Authority, Triathlon Homes, and Qatari Diar and Delancey, to ensure that it provides the best possible service for residents and maintains homes and shared communal areas such as gardens to a high standard.

Triathlon Homes is also working in partnership with local residents, groups and organisations to ensure a sustainable and desirable neighbourhood is created, with the right infrastructure in place.

With the active support of Triathlon Homes, Lend Lease is leading a programme of community engagement. Triathlon Homes has also taken part in public events in Stratford, including raising awareness of the different affordable housing options that will be available in the Village, and seeking views on the key community facilities which will be available for residents of the Village.
