Our role

East Village will provide 2,818 high quality homes in east London - an area of London where new homes are much needed. Of the 2,818 homes in the Village, 1,379 are owned by Triathlon Homes and will be affordable, offering a range of rental and ownership opportunities for people on low to average incomes.

Urban development and investment company First Base, and housing associations, Southern Housing Group and East Thames Group, are combining their expertise to ensure the housing meets these requirements.

Together they created an innovative investment vehicle to facilitate the purchase of the affordable homes from the Olympic Delivery Authority. This was one of the first times that the public and private sectors had worked together in this way to deliver and finance an affordable housing project of this scale.

Triathlon Homes is now working with Qatari Diar and Delancey, as well as the Olympic Delivery Authority, to ensure the successful delivery of high quality affordable homes that are accessible to local people.
